This is a medium sized (16 inches high) green leaved
species of hosta that originated in
Japan. It has a medium to
fast growth rate compared to other species hostas. The leaves are
shiny and narrow with lightly rippled margins. It produces pale
lavender, funnel-shaped flowers in dense clusters that open in late August to
September.
