This form of the species is found
in Japan and is a medium sized
(15 inches high) plant with elliptical leaves
covered with an intense waxy white bloom on the bottom
side. Near white flowers bloom in dense clusters.
According to Zilis (2009),
"This form of Hosta kikutii is known for the intense
white bloom that coats the underside of the leaf blade. As a
garden plant, it is much more than that. The general look of the plant is smooth, making it an excellent
choice as either a specimen plant or ground cover."
