Hosta 'Lacy Belle'

This cultivar is the result of a cross between an unnamed seedling of  H. 'Neat Splash' × H. 'Halcyon'. It was registered by Wm and Eleanor Lachman of Massachusetts in 1992 and modified in 1997. Forming a medium size (12 inches high by 21 inches wide) mound, this plant's margins change from yellow to creamy white during the summer. In late July and into August it forms pale lavender flowers.

The registration materials state: "...Originally published as H. 'Lacey Belle'.  Correction appeared on page 121 of the The Hosta Journal Volume 29 No. 1."
