Hosta 'Lady Abigail'

Registered by Charles Kwick of Wisconsin in 2018, this slow growing cultivar is a small size (10 inches high by 18 inches wide) seedling of H. 'Queen Josephine'. It has greenish-yellow leaves that are broadly ovate, slightly folded, moderately corrugated and slightly shiny on top. Near white flowers with light lavender stripes bloom in July on scapes up to 36 inches tall followed by seeds whose viability was not known at the time of registration.

The registration materials state: "...Tightly bunched mound of slightly shiny, moderately corrugated leaves...shiny surface dulls somewhat later in the season ."
