Hosta 'Lady El'

Registered by Charles Kwick of Wisconsin in 2019, this upright growing, medium size (14 inches high by 23 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. montana 'Aureomarginata' × H. 'Sunshine Glory'. It has golden-yellow foliage that is slightly rippled at the margins. The ovate shaped leaves are slightly wavy and dull on top. Pale lavender flowers with a lavender center stripe bloom from late June into July on scapes 23 to 28 inches tall.

The registration materials state: "...Well formed, upright gold with slightly wavy leaves...gold color intensifies throughout the season."
