Hosta 'Lake Ontario'

This cultivar of unidentified parentage was registered by Ran Lydell of Cooks Nursery and Eagle Bay Gardens in New York in 1998. It grows to a medium size about 18 inches high by 40 inches wide. The foliage is blue-green when it emerges in the spring but changes to medium green later in the season. Its leaves are slightly corrugated, broadly ovate and slightly wavy with a distinct tip. Near white flowers bloom in July.
