This cultivar which was registered in 2003 has an H. ventricosa background and is from Mary Chastain of Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee. The plant grows into a medium size hosta about 15 inches in height with a width of 47 inches. It has very dark green foliage and bears purple flowers in July.
