This cultivar from unknown parentage was
registered in 1993 by
Mary Chastain of Tennessee of Tennessee. It forms a miniature size (5 inches high by 10 inches wide) mound with wavy,
shiny medium green foliage. The purple flowers bloom
The Book of Little Hostas (2010)
says: "This pretty small plant provides excellent color
contrast with more showy companions in a tray or trough. Early morning sun will
maintain a rich, dark green color."
