Hosta 'Lakeside Ragtime'

This cultivar of unidentified parentage was originated by Mary Chastain of Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee and registered by her in 2000. A fast growing, small size (7 inches high by 15 inches wide) hosta, this plant has green foliage with a marginal variegation that starts the season yellow but turns white later. The leaves are very wavy, narrowly elliptic and have average substance. Medium lavender flowers bloom in July on scapes up to 22 inches high.
