Hosta 'Lakeside Ripples'

This cultivar of unidentified parentage was registered in 1991 by Mary Chastain of Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee. It forms a giant size mound of heavily rippled foliage of good substance. The leaves have a moderately lobed base and a thin layer of bloom on the underside. It bears pale lavender flowers in July on tall scapes.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), " of the mainstays of the Lakeside breeding program...I've seen it grow 40" high in two gardens..."
