Hosta 'Lakeside Ripples'

This cultivar of unidentified parentage was registered in 1991 by Mary Chastain of Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee. It forms a giant size mound of heavily rippled foliage of good substance. The leaves have a moderately lobed base and a thin layer of bloom on the underside. It bears pale lavender flowers in July on tall scapes.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...one of the mainstays of the Lakeside breeding program...I've seen it grow 40" high in two gardens..."
