This non-registered plant was originated by Mary Chastain of Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee. It is a small size hosta that is a sport of H. 'Lakeside Zinger'. Purple flowers bloom in July.

The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy and Michael Shadrack (2010) says: "Difficult to grow without the exact amount of beneficial light...so will do better in a container that is easily moved to the best available location."
