A medium size (12 inches high by 30 inches wide) hosta, this cultivar is a sport of H. longissima which was registered by Alex Malloy of New York in 2002. Its leaves are green with a very thin, white marginal variegation. Medium lavender flowers bloom from late August into September according to the registration materials.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...should produce purple flowers in September..."
