Hosta 'Lauren'

A seedling of H. 'Saishu Jima', this cultivar was registered by David Heinz of Michigan in 1991. It is a medium size plant about 14 inches high with a spread of around 30 inches. The bright gold foliage is heavily rippled and has thin substance. Purple flowers bloom in August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...comes close to 'Chartreuse Wiggles', but has a much brighter gold color."
