This cultivar of unidentified parentage was originated by Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan and registered on his behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. It forms a small size (6 inches high by 19 inches wide) hosta with dark green foliage. The leaves are lanceolate, slightly rippled, dull on top and smooth textured. Its petioles have red speckling.
