Hosta 'Le RÍve'

Originated in 2012 by Jocelyne Bastille of Aux Mille Hostas in Canada, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage but is thought to have H. 'Dorothy Benedict' in its background. It is a small size hosta with green foliage that has chartreuse and yellow speckled streaked variegation. The yellow speckles turn creamy white later in the summer. It is noted for maintaining the variegation from year to year. The petioles are also streaked. Flowers bloom toward the end of September.

The Dream - Le RÍve is a painting by Pablo Picasso
