This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Perry's True Blue' which was registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio and Paul Hofer of Antioch Farms in Ohio in 1987. It is a medium size hosta about 17 inches high by 21 inches wide with greyish blue-green foliage. The near white flowers bloom from late June into July on scapes 18 inches tall.

The registration materials state: "The Genus Hosta List of Registered Cultivars (Silver Book) incorrectly listed this as a 1988 registration. It was a 1987 registration appearing in THJ Volume 19 No. 1."
