Hosta 'Little Hobber'

This cultivar of unidentified parentage was registered by Kent Terpening of New York in 2001. A small size plant, it grows to about 8 inches in height with a spread of 34 inches. The round leaves are moderately corrugated with good substance. It bears lavender flowers in July.

It appears that a "hobber" is a machine that is used to cut spiral gears out of metal.
