This hybrid of H. 'Sea Monster' × a seedling was registered in 1988 by Wm and Eleanor Lachman of Massachusetts. The blue-green foliage of this large size plant is heavily corrugated and has thick substance. Its near white flowers bloom from late June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...has always impressed me for its intense corrugation and unruly appearance, as well as its good blue color and thick substance."
