Hosta 'Lord Dullripple'

 

Registered by Charles Kwick of Wisconsin in 2020, this medium size (17 inches high by 37 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Blue Umbrellas' × H. montana 'Aureomarginata'. It is a medium green hosta with white marginal variegation The ovate leaves are slightly folded, moderately corrugated, heavily rippled and dull on top. Near white flowers with translucent margins on alternate petals bloom from late June into July on scapes 30 to 36 inches tall. It sets seeds but their viability was unknown at the time of registration.

The registration materials state: "...Heavily rippled leaf margins that show a hint of white on the edges."
