Hosta 'M Go Blue'

Registered by Bevie Schmidt of Michigan in 2009, this fast growing, large size (22 inches high by 56 inches wide) cultivar is a hybrid of H. 'Elata'. The slightly blue-green foliage is broadly ovate, slightly corrugated, slightly cupped, slightly rippled and slightly shiny on top. Tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes 22 to 24 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...silver blue leaves drape to create a pool of blue...green increase as season progresses..."

This, of course, is a sports chant by followers of the University of Michigan teams.
