A small size (7 inches high) hosta, this cultivar is a seedling of a sport of H. 'Akarana' which was registered in 2005 by Alex Malloy of New York on behalf of the originator, Dr. Doug Beilstein of Ohio. The foliage is green with white streaked variegation and is very shiny with thick texture. Purple flowers bloom in July on 9 inch scapes.
