Hosta 'Margie Weissenberger'

A seedling of H. 'Blue Cadet', this cultivar was registered in 1986 by Henry Weissenberger of New York. It is a miniature (5 inches high by 12 inches wide) size plant with ovate, folded leaves which start the season blue-green but turn green later in the season. Lavender flowers bloom from late June into July.

The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy and Michael Shadrack (2010) says: "Grows well in dappled shade; too much bright sun will quickly turn the leaves green."
