Hosta 'Mentor Gold'
 

 

This cultivar of unidentified parentage was originated at Wayside Gardens when they were located in Mentor, Ohio. It was registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 1978. 'Mentor Gold' forms a medium size mound about 12 inches high with a spread of 38 inches.

The lance shaped leaves are gold to green colored with a white marginal variegation. Its foliage is corrugated and has thin substance. Medium purple flowers are in bloom in August.
