Hosta 'Merlin'

This seedling of H. 'Pin Stripe' was registered by Dr. Dick and Jane Ward of Ohio in 2003. It forms a medium size mound about 13 inches tall with a spread of 43 inches. The leaves have a blue-green center with a gold margin and are moderately corrugated with thick substance. Pale purple flowers are borne in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "I have seen at least three different hostas with the name 'Merlin', but the plant from Dick and Jane Ward is the registered one."
