Jim Schwarz of Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by Uniquely Hostas of Wisconsin) registered this cultivar of unidentified parentage in 2002. The small size plant has dark green leaves with a narrow medial (center) variegation that starts the season gold in color but changes to creamy white later. Pale purple flowers bloom on reddish purple scapes in July.
