Hosta 'Midwest Blue'

A sport of H. 'Midwest Gold', this is a non-registered cultivar from Alex Summers of Delaware. The large size mound grows to about 20 inches in height with a spread of around 41 inches with blue-green foliage. The leaves are deeply lobed at the base, slightly cupped, moderately corrugated and have thick substance. Its near white flowers bloom from late June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...may no longer exist."
