Hosta 'Mike'
 

Registered by B. Webster of Wisconsin in 2010, this giant size (30 inches high by 46 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a medium blue-green hosta with leaves that are moderately corrugated, nearly round, slightly cupped and have a glaucous bloom on top. Tubular flowers bloom from June into July on scapes from 36 to 42 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...large blue-gray foliage..."


Named for Michael Stringer and the Michael Stringer Memorial Endowment benefiting orphaned children in Russia.
