Hosta 'Miles Standish'

Originated by Rick Goodenough of Massachusetts, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a medium size, upright growing hosta with blue-green foliage. The leaves are slightly wavy and come to a point at the tip.

On the Hosta Library website, an image of this plant was submitted by Rick Goodenough and was spelled 'Miles Standish'. At the Hosta Lists website, a cultivar named 'Myles Standish' was listed as having blue-green foliage.

Myles Standish (c.1584 - October 3, 1656) was an English military officer hired by the Pilgrims as military adviser for Plymouth Colony in America.
