Hans Hansen of Shady Oaks Nursery in Minnesota registered this cultivar in 1999 as a sport of H. 'Aspen Gold'. The large size (22 inches high by 41 inches wide) plant has thick leaves and near white flowers from late June into July.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Very slow to increase but easy to grow in all climates."
