Hosta 'Minimoon'

This self-pollinated seedling of H. 'Blue Moon' was registered by Wm and Eleanor Lachman of Massachusetts in 1992. It forms a miniature size mound only 4˝ inches tall by 14 inches wide. The foliage is blue-green in color, slightly cupped and has thick substance. Near white flowers bloom in early August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...offers a dwarf size and thick, rich blue foliage. Unfortunately, it also is plagued by a very slow growth rate."
