Hosta 'Miss Mitzi'

Originated by Dr. Doug Beilstein of Ohio and registered by Bob & Barb Schroeder of Illinois in 2016, this upright growing, medium size (12 inches high by 36 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Goddess of Athena' × H. montana 'Aureomarginata'. It is a mixture of medium to dark green, greenish yellow to blue-green with a creamy white marginal variegation. The leaves are broadly ovate, slightly wavy and slightly shiny on top. Lavender flowers with mid-tepal stripes bloom from June into July on scapes up to 20 inches tall.

The registration materials state: "Quad-colors in leaf center include med-green, dark-green, slightly blue-green & greenish-yellow. Smaller than it's parent, H. montana 'Aureomarginata'.
