Hosta 'Miss Moonbeam'

This non-registered plant has H. 'Undulata' in its background. It has leaf color similar to its mother plant except that it shows green spotting in the white part of the leaf in early summer. The leaves emerge in the spring almost entirely white but develop some green chlorophyll later in order to survive. Proper siting is important since too much sun can cause the thin leaves to brown out.
