Hosta 'Mister Red Genes'

There is an image of this cultivar on the Hosta Library. From the photo on the HL website, it appears to be a very upright growing, large size hosta with blue-green leaves and long, reddish petioles. The flower scapes are the same color as the petioles. It is a seedling of H. 'Miss Susie'. This non-registered cultivar was originated by Arthur Wrede at The Azalea Patch in Maryland.
