This cultivar of unidentified parentage was originated by Stan Megos of Connecticut and registered by Alex Malloy of New York in 1998. The medium to large size plant has H. 'Sieboldiana' characteristics with blue-green foliage that changes to dark green by the end of the summer. Its foliage is heavily corrugated and unruly. Near white flowers bloom in June.
