This cultivar which was registered in 2002 by Jim Schwarz of Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by Uniquely Hostas of Wisconsin) is a sport of H. 'Moonlight Sonata'. It forms a large size plant about 19 inches high with a spread of around 33 inches. The medium green foliage has a lighter green marginal variegation. Near white flowers bloom from June into July. Seed set was unknown at the time of registration.

The registration materials state: "...subtle variegation...variegation intensifies later in season."
