Hosta 'Mountain Pride'

Originated by Dr. Ralph (Herb) and Dorothy Benedict of Michigan but registered in 2010 by Rod Kuenster of Iowa on his behalf, this fast growing cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a giant size plant about 33 inches high by 69 inches wide with medium green foliage. The leaves are broadly ovate, slightly wavy, slightly folded and slightly shiny on top. Tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into August on extremely tall scapes up to 76 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...huge plant, flowing mound..."
