Hosta 'Mrs. Minky'

A hybrid of H. minor x H. 'Piedmont Gold', this cultivar was registered by Peter Hall in 1993. The 12 inch high plant spreads to a width of around 33 inches with foliage that emerges gold in color but changes to chartreuse later in the season. Its leaves are distinctly rippled and twisted at the tips. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July.
