Hosta hypoleuca
'Murasaki Kuki Urajiro'

Originated in Japan, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage but has H. hypoleuca in its background. It has green foliage with purple dotted petioles and bears lavender flowers.

Mikiko Lockwood in an article on The Hosta Library titled, A Little About Japanese Hosta Terms defines the term urajiro as white-backed or white underside and the term murasaki as purple.
