Originating in Japan and registered by Peter and Jean Ruh of Ohio in 2010 and re-registered with new data in 2018, this medium size (17 inches high by 18 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage.

It is a fast growing, upright hosta with green leaves that are moderately rippled, slightly corrugated, moderately folded, elliptic and slightly shiny on top. The flowers are purple with white stripes, tubular in shape and borne on scapes 36 inches tall. Seed set was unknown at the time of registration.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...a long-standing cultivar that has occasionally been offered for sale."
