Hosta 'Nate The Great'

Registered by Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina in 2003, this cultivar is a cross of the species, H. nigrescens x H. 'Tokudama Aureonebulosa'. True to its heritage, it forms a vase shaped mound of foliage that has thick substance and is cupped. The large size plant measures about 26 inches in height and a width of over 50 inches. Pale lavender flowers atop 40 inch scapes bloom in July into August.
