Danny Van Eechaute of Belgium registered this fast growing, small size (6 inches high by 7 inches wide) sport of H. 'Golden Needles' in 2013. The leaves are light green with a pale yellow to creamy white medial (center) variegation. They are broadly ovate, slightly wavy and dull on top. Deep purple, tubular flowers with white stripes bloom from July into August.
