Gotemba Nursery in Japan, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage but has H. 'Tokudama' in its background.
It is a large size hosta with golden-yellow foliage with
the form of 'Tokudama'. Mikiko Lockwood in an article on The Hosta Library titled,
A Little About Japanese Hosta Terms defines the term ogon or oogon as gold or yellow.
