Hosta 'Old Blue Eyes'

Originated by Randy Goodwin of Indiana, this cultivar was registered in 2021 as being of unidentified parentage. It is a medium size (9 inches high by 25 inches wide) hosta with intensely powder blue-green foliage. The broadly ovate leaves are slightly cupped and slightly folded. It bears pale lavender, tubular flowers with stripes that bloom in July and and sets seed but their viability was not known at the time of registration.

According to the Registration materials: "Modest sized clump of distinct, strongly blue colored leaves held outstretched for good viewing."
