Hosta 'Old Smoky'

Harold McDonell of Georgia registered this large size (27 inches high by 60 inches wide) cultivar in 2014. It is the result of a cross of H. 'Maekawa' × H. 'Abiqua Drinking Gourd'. The unruly foliage has medium green foliage that is moderately wavy, heavily corrugated, broadly ovate, slightly twisted and dull on top. Near white, tubular flowers with lavender midribs bloom from June into July. It sets viable seeds.
