This medium size
(18 inches high by 41 inches wide) cultivar is a
hybrid of H. 'Sea Prize' ×
H. hypoleuca which was
registered by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 2000. The foliage is moderately
corrugated, unruly and has thick substance. Pale purple flowers
bloom from late July on 26 inch high scapes.
The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by
Grenfell (2009) states: "Vigorous with a moderate growth rate. Divide
frequently to prevent the attractive streaked and splashed leaf cent from
stabilizing to green."
