Hosta 'Orphan Train Rider'

Registered by Charles Kwick of Wisconsin in 2017, this small size (9 inches high by 22 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. The greenish-yellow foliage is slightly rippled, ovate, slightly folded and slightly shiny on top. Medium lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes up to 26 inches tall. It sets seeds but their viability was undetermined at the time of registration.

The registration materials state: "...Soft greenish-yellow mound of slightly ruffled leaves...lightens slightly as season progresses."
