Hosta 'Oshima Silk'
 

This cultivar is a seedling of H. pycnophylla x an unnamed seedling which was originated in Japan by Toshiro Shimizu and registered on his behalf by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2009. The medium size plant grows to about 12 inches in height with a spread of around 25 inches. Its leaves are slightly rippled, flat, dull on top. They are medium green with pure white marginal variegation. Pale purple flowers bloom from mid-August into October.
