Hosta 'Oxford Blue Top'

 

Registered by June Colley and John Baker of England in 2020, this miniature to small size (6 inches high by 16 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is dark blue-green in color with ovate leaves that are nearly flat and glaucous on top. The petioles are brownish-red with a glaucous bloom.

The flowers are pale purple and when open, the petals show a splash of pale lavender with a white outline. The bloom from August into September on scapes 7 to 9 inche tall followed by viable seeds.
