This sport of H. 'Abiqua Recluse' was registered by Paula Lehtola of Massachusetts in 2008. It grows to about 16 inches in height with a spread of 36 inches. The leaves are slightly shiny on top and bottom, deeply cupped, folded, heavily corrugated and broadly ovate with a cordate base. Its tubular flowers bloom from June into mid-July.
