Hosta 'Pale Rider'

 

Registered by Ed Schulz of Iowa in 2014, this upright growing cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a small size (10 inches high by 18 inches wide) hosta with light green foliage that changes to yellow as the season progresses. The leaves are moderately flat, slightly wavy, ovate and dull on top. Tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes about 18 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...leaf color change, light green to very pale whitish yellow..."
